Hey guys, I'd just like to share the great news that I have a new job.

No more suits in the city for me with long working hours and long train journeys. I've set my sights on the Shire, Hertfordshire to be precise.

Working out in the sticks on the verge of rural society has a certain appeal. The skies are prettier, the landscapes greener and the people are generally friendlier and more relaxed, lacking the contempt that city workers seem to have.

So now I work for [link] who sell all manner of sports and outdoor shoes as well as Emu boots and other fashionable things like Caterpillar shoes. Generally a bit of an eccentric shop, but it has a certain charm all of its own.

I'm very happy here. City life was not for me.
